Prius Battery Test: Criteria
Badge Recipients will understand how NiMH battery packs are integrated into hybrid power trains and well as how they function. In addition the recipient will understand how to interpret performance criteria from software and scan tools designed to test and exercise such NiMH battery packs. The recipient will have demonstrated this knowledge under instructor supervision for three separate battery packs from Prius/Toyota hybrid vehicles:
