The concept of reading is less than totally clear in this network age. If you have an actual paper text then it might make a lot of sense to settle down in a comfy chair with the beverage of your choice and read a chapter. Alternatively you can access the same material via Jeremy Blum's videos though it has a slightly different feel. Our challenges this first week are to get everybody up and running with their Arduino's and get something to happen that we intend to see happen. In classic coding camps this is the 'Hello world!' program that is the traditional starting point for many classes. In the world of Arduino's and other eletronic interfaces we seek to be able to 'talk' to the microcontroller and get it to do something predictable.
Here is a summary of the sorts of things we will be doing this first week in video form.
