Lab Resources:

Here's the Clay Shirky CrossFade sketch that you need for this lab. Remember that it is a zip file and needs to be unpacked before you can use it.

Learning about the Serial Monitor: There is so much that I needed to understand about the serial monitor that came up during this lab that I have created a bunch of different Arduino sketches to support my understanding. Don't just copy -- go slow and make sense of it. Here they are....loads of comments in each one.

SimpleSerial: A very basic exploration... (zipped file)

SimpleSerial2: Exploring some of the uncertainties that came up in the first one.... (zipped file)

SimpleSerial3: What I learned in the first 2 packaged up neatly for use by whomever... (zipped file)

SimpleSerial4: Entering words (strings) from serial monitor, otherwise the same a SimpleSerial3... (zipped file)

Splicing Wires:

Not surprisingly there is a NASA standard for splicing wires and here it is..

Probably more useful is this splicing guide..

Third Hand projects:

This is a very nice one....

This is a very low budget one....
