The student's observations are that the frog kicks a little when the switch is closed but kicks strongly for about 5 s when the switch is opened. Investigation suggests that the frog will kick strongly as long as 10 mA of current is flowing through the muscles. (similar to electrostimulation of muscles in physical therapy)
