Each of the groups we identified previously will complete the following tasks.
1) Start the process of building your circuit on the project board -- might be good to take a photo of it and label each of the components using some photo/edit software.
2) For your groups portion of the circuit begin analyzing the function of each component. For op amps determine if they are amplifiers (inverting or otherwise) or followers. For all digital devices determine their output voltages or currents in different scenarios. Trace various paths to ground and firgure out currents through resistors and the various reference voltages that control the behavior of the op amps. For transistors determine base voltages and currents from you spec sheets and maximum currents they can provide. Same goes for the voltage regulator. Estimate maximum current used in your portion of the circuit.
3) You will undoubtedly have questions about 2) above. Please write your specific questions down so you create a structure for understanding the answers we will generate together. Each time we chat I will try to answer at least one of your questions if it is specific enough. In the end you will need to construct a clear document communicating what you learn about how your portion of the circuit operates (not this time).
Let's see what happens even though time is short......
