I'm finding a need to collect various resources that I have used in one place so that I don't forget where they are and how to get to them. I apologize for any broken links or other frustrations. Please suggest additions to the shareable database for badge work and other related instructional 'innovations'. My email is bemerson@cocc.edu .
Resources accessible from Badge Home (the parent page linked at the top):
From Badge Home you can access massive volumes of reading at all of the blog links on the right side of the page. Don't say I didn't warn you about the rabbit hole......You can also possibly get some useful information from the HI-TEC 2016 link which takes you to a heavily annotated presentation on building a open badge (version 1.1) by hand. I found it a very useful, though challenging, exercise. The rest of this page represents my place space for badge development and probably isn't very useful but feel free to explore.People playing with badge projects in a variety of spaces:
Seems like it would be helpful to build a personal database of badge projects I have looked and/or heard about. I will filter these a bit based on my own desires and interests so my apologies if I have overlooked your personal favorite. Send me links as you find them and I'll be glad to add them to the list.Conference Notes:
I have a sense of personal exposure in doing this but I have gotten in the habit of dumping notes into a file as I sit at meetings in a desperate attempt to forget less. I will try to sanitize these notes but I apologize in advance if you find some remnant snarkiness or tasteless comment embedded in these document. I plead abuse by PowerPoint as my excuse or terminal gluteus fatigue. If you want me to share your notes here just ask.
