Teaching Philosophy:
Sometimes I think my involvement with the maker/hacker community is a recent thing and sometimes it feels like it's in my DNA. What is clear is that these are all expressions of a core value to me which is the care and nurturing of curiousity. Tinker Tuesdays are a nod to the maker community and the spirit of play and curiousity that provokes to take things apart to see how they work and put them back together so they work (or don't) in new ways. Tinker forward!!
This class is also a community. The values we share and the way we act have a remarkable impact on our experiences within the community. In this class I ask that you be conscious of your role in that community and your potential impact on the learning and growth of your classmates. Feel free to hold me to that same standard.
